The Light Set is a six-piece band from New Orleans. Started by Lauren Oglesby in 2016, The Light Set performs dreamy, harmony-drenched chamber folk that offers up "...catharsis through sad songs sung beautifully" (The Gambit). Live shows have been described as chilling, uplifting, and incredibly human.

The Light Set's debut EP, Diving, was released in 2018.

Lauren Oglesby, soprano, is an experienced solo and choral singer who frequently performs at church services, weddings, and private events. She has been a featured soloist and section leader in groups such as Krewe de Voix Chamber Choir, St. Patrick's Church Choir, Seattle Pro Musica, and is the vocalist for early music ensemble Rogue Baroque.
